Silly I know, but seeing "Barking Baptist Church" reminded me how an American, visiting us in Hull, found a (former) church used by the East Yorkshire Mowers; and thought this was another group like the Quakers, the Shakers, the Diggers &c... I love the idea of barking Baptists...
