DEVON HOLIDAY

P1000781

We enjoyed the Scrumpy at this pub on Dartmoor on several occasions.

The lady behind the bar told us that the fire in the inglenook fireplace had been burning for 300+ years non-stop!

  1. Aaaarrrhh, me deearrrs!

When I was a national serviceman in 1956 at RAF Credenhill the cider from nearby Hereford in a small country pub was 8d (3.5p) a pint - and potent! Two pints delivered in halves over the course of an evening was most definitely my limit.

  2. Those were the days - it is now £3.70 a pint (but worth it)
